It’s important to me to stay active. After my first pregnancy (twins!), I developed chronic back problems that inhibited my activity. I’ve tried various methods to relieve back pain and improve my strength and posture: yoga, therapeutic massage, chiropractic adjustments, and physical therapy. The physical therapist recommended Pilates as an effective way to gain strength and improve my flexibility. I have found that the sessions at Pilates Studio have helped me to build core body strength and brought lasting pain relief to my shoulder and back.

Working on the machines helps me isolate individual areas of particular need and avoid straining overused muscles. The instructors keep a close watch to make sure I’m exercising correctly, helping me to develop better body awareness.

I first heard about Pilates years ago from a friend who used to be a classical dancer. I tried a few mat classes, but nothing clicked. Now that I’ve had proper training at Pilates Studio, I understand why dancers swear by the method: it makes me feel taller, stronger, and more energetic.

The camaraderie and long-tasting friendships that have resulted from the warm and encouraging women I have encountered, both on staff and in the sessions at Pilates Studio, have been a positive boost for me. The workouts are challenging, effective, and fun.

A friend recommended Pilates Studio to me. I try to eat right and exercise, and I was looking for a way to motivate myself to a higher level of fitness. I am very pleased with the results I am receiving. I look forward to my sessions because they have made a huge difference in how I feel about myself and in my level of health already. I am definitely stronger where I need to be and I’m looking forward to seeing even more benefits as I continue, because I have only been attending for eight months.

The staff members at Pilates Studio are very encouraging and helpful to me. Their classes are never boring or repetitive. Instead, the instructors mix things up to keep things moving, lively and interesting. The interpersonal skills these instructors display are wonderful and refreshing.

I began attending Pilates Studio because it is located near a business run by my family. After attending the classes for a year-and-a-half, I have noticed an increase in my core strength and a greater sense of well-being. The most noticeable change has been the absence of back pain. I see the benefits of fitness, not so much in appearance changes, but in how my body feels.

Pilates Studio has an intense level of dedication to helping individuals achieve wellness in its entirety. The attention to detail, the emphasis on safety and proper alignment of the body are all a part of the personalized approach the instructors take. It’s obvious that each instructor has been carefully and consistently trained in proper technique. That, in and of itself, is extremely important, especially when dealing with individual limitations, such as a problem-prone back. As for me, my back improved remarkably within two months and I have been pain-free with the help of Pilates Studio.

I am an extremely busy person and my time is precious to me, but so is my hearth and well-being I have found Pilates Studio to be an essential part of my personal health regimen. I feel like my body is reaching its full potential – the way it’s supposed to be – healthy and strong.

The one-on-one attention and the detailed focus on every muscle demonstrated by the skilled instructors make the sessions so effective and beneficial. Most people feel you must be young and have a perfect body to do Pilates because of the difficulty level, but that is a myth. I am fifty-six years old, which confirms Pilates is for all ages. The staff here is ready and willing to work with you no matter the situation. Pilates can be tailored to anybody and performing the structured movements make you feel so much better! I have lost a lot of weight over the last three years and my body weight has redistributed as well.

As an avid runner, injury prevention is a big concern for me. The strength and flexibility I have gained through the classes I participate in at Pilates Studio are a huge asset in this regard. It has also helped improve the overall quality of my life. In fact, I find myself making Pilates one of the last things I do in my weekly routine because it is such a fulfilling, quiet and peaceful part of my routine. I find myself letting go of the week’s stresses, allowing my mind and body to begin the weekend on a good note.

The instructors are so attuned to body movements, watching carefully to see what muscles are in use and if the positions are correctly executed. The transition from one exercise to the next is almost seamless, so there is no perceptible downtime. It’s smooth with no jarring movements, yielding better results with less chance of injury. Being a runner, I have to be constantly aware of ways to reduce and avoid injury in my fitness regimen.
